Welcome to The Highwayman, where we pride ourselves on creating a sense of community for all who walk through our doors.
We are a family run Pub at the centre of the village of Dobwalls. Serving our local community, as well as visitors from near and far, we offer good beers, a great atmosphere and some amazing pub food.
The Highwayman is the perfect place to meet up with friends.
We have a spacious beer garden with a play area for the children, a lovely decking area with grape vines hanging above and a large car park for easy access.
There are some great entertainment evenings, with live bands and discos, as well as karaoke and themed nights that are sure to keep you coming back for more.

Just a few of the benefits of popping in to The Highwayman...
Live Music
We have fortnightly live music on Saturdays with some great bands playing.
There's our monthly Acoustic Evenings wher we offer special food menus whilst acoustic acts serenade you.
We hold regular Karaoke events and Disco nights with our resident mixmaster DJ Jackie.
Large Garden Area
We have a large garden space with a play area and decking that you can spend summer afternoons in, drinking and eating with friends.
We also hold an annual beer festival which raises money for the Cornwall Air Ambulance.
In the coming months, there will be much more going on outside, with bike and car rallies as well as other events.
Cosy atmosphere
A real fire, Chesterfields, wooden beams, wooden chandeliers, and a bunch of great locals will really make you feel warm and cosy.
When you walk in, you will be greeted by our amazing staff who will make sure you are fed, watered and looked after.
Come in as a stranger; leave as a friend.
The Restaurant
An inviting restaurant area where you can enjoy our great pub food.
This room can also hold functions, whatevery you are looking for - celebrations of life, birthday parties, Wedding receptions -you can ensure you have a great time.
Great Pub Food
We are always striving to find great tasting food.
There's many beautifully home made recipes we use. From fish pie to steak pie; from lasagne to linguine; from chilli to chicken and chorizo ciabatta - our food will have you thinking that your Mum called you in from playtime to sit down for dinner!
The Carvery
Running through the winter months, our carvery is one not to be missed.
With our meats supplied by James Kittow, our veg supplied from local sources and an amazing home made gravy, you are in for an absolute treat.
